Surfing at Raglan with my mates. Managed to film the waves, our falls, and even a dolphin that swam close by. Camera survived my wipeouts without a scratch. Editing clips was super easy thanks to the app.

Aroha Clearwater

Hiking in Waipoua Forest and filming giant kauri trees. Footage is so crisp, you can almost feel the texture of the ferns and moss. Even managed some low-light shots under the canopy with no issues. Really impressed by the stabilisation.

Tramping the Kepler Track with my partner. Cloudy day, rain showers, and gusty winds, but the HERO11 kept footage crystal clear. Loved how the wide-angle showed the entire valley, including the Misty Mountains in the distance. Battery lasted the whole trek.

Parekura Wai

Tramping the Tongariro Northern Circuit with friends. Weather was grim—wind, rain, and fog—but the camera’s 4K footage is still sharp. Captured the Red Crater and Emerald Lakes in one shot, which looks unreal. Loved the AI stabilisation and the ability to quickly edit clips on the go. Definitely one of the best action cameras I’ve owned.

I strapped it to my mountain bike helmet while riding through the Whakarewarewa forest in Rotorua. The trail was muddy from last night’s rain and I wiped out twice, but the camera didn’t budge and the footage is unbelievably smooth. Even captured the ferns and steam vents in the background beautifully. My mates are all asking how I got such professional-looking clips. The AI stabilisation is actually magic.

Captured Milky Way in South Island. Amazing low-light detail for such a small camera.

Forest trail running. Wide-angle 143° view makes trails look epic.
