i owned a HERO 3+ from a long time ago, and it's been there collecting dust after my roadtrip to yellowstone. This particular packaging isn't very beginner friendly. there's no SD card included (true there're plenty of affordable options out there, but it's not a true plug-and-play experience so to speak). mounting options are also limited from this package, but again, too many options out there. i think this is a good package for previous gopro owners, because all the accessories will work! or if you have a specific idea of customizing your gopro, then this "bare" kit would be a great fit. nonetheless, the product itself is superb. I mean I almost forgot how much I love about travelling and capturing those memories from trips, and gopro is way better than your phone in that regard. a bit of an investment for sure, but worth every penny IMO
